In the middle session I help with story time by finishing off the story, while my mentor took a phone call. We then had reading groups, I assisted my mentor with helping the small groups of 4 with reading books at their level. The class was separated into 4 groups of 3-4 children. 2 groups completed reading task while the other 2 groups drew a picture of what they did on the holidays and writing a sentence at the bottom of their page of what their picture was. I walked around and assisted the children with sounding out the words...
