Well all that I can do is work from what I know. For me I strongly believe in students learning the best from being hands on and doing learning themselves eaither indidivually or alongside their peers, this is in alignment with the constructivist theory and I worked closely with this over my prac and am happy to say that the majority of the time students thoroughly enjoyed lessons based on this.
