O λύκος της πόλης | ένα νυχτολόγιο O λύκος της πόλης ένα νυχτολόγιο Ο ίδιος εφιάλτης •22 Αυγούστου, 2006 • 2 Σχόλια Δεν μου είχε μείνει μεγάλο χρονικό περιθώριο για να το περάσω ταξιδεύοντας σ’ όλη την Αγγλία, επειδή είχα αφήσει το σπίτι πίσω στην Αθήνα. Αμέσως ακολούθησα τις πληροφορίες που είχα πάρει σχετικά με τον Άγγλο συλλέκτη. Απ’ ότι φαινόταν έμενε σε μια έπαυλη σε προάστιο του Έσσεξ ανατολικά του Λονδίνου. Λίγο πολύ είχα μια ιδέα για το τι θα αντιμετώπιζα. Δεν ήταν η πρώτη φορά που ερχόμουν αντιμέτωπος με έναν συλλέκτη. Και συνήθως είναι σκληροί και αμείλικτοι. Ο άνθρωπος που θα συναντούσα δεν άνηκε στις εξαιρέσεις. Είχα ήδη κλείσει τηλεφωνικά ένα ραντεβού μαζί του γιατί ήξερα ότι δεν θα υπήρχε άλλος τρόπος να περάσω την πύλη που έχουν αυτού του είδους κτίρια. Αράδιασα κάτι τίτλους από βιβλία που ήξερα για την αξία τους, μερικά από αυτά ήδη ήταν κάτω από την ιδιοκτησία μου . Φυσικά του τράβηξα την προσοχή και πήρα αμέσως την έγκριση της πολύ κοντινής ημ...
