Arwah bapa mertua dan mendiang suami Aci ni sama-sama kerja di JKR Batu Gajah dan sama-sama tinggal di kuarters. Mereka berjiran. Bila dah berjiran tu, hubungan mereka memang rapat la. Termasuk isteri saya dan anak-anak mereka. Sama-sama jalan kaki pergi sekolah dan sama-sama belajar. Bila Mendiang suami Aci ni pencen, mereka pindah ke Ipoh manakala mak mertua pula menetap di Batu Gajah. Jadi setiap kali raya Deepavali, kami akan melawat mereka dan setiap kali raya puasa, mereka akan datang beraya. Harap tradisi ni akan berterusan walaupun kami berlainan agama.
