Ja ne estis facile akiri manĝon, malfortuloj ili estis compare kun ĉirkaŭvivuloj. Do, jarmiloj trapasis ĝis kiam la homoj akiris spiritĉeeston kaj sentis la bezonon prizorgi ne nur la stomakon sed ankaŭ la animon. Ekestis tempo por deziro “eliri” el familio, montri sin kaj ricevi aplaŭdojn de pli multenombra publiko. Kaj jen antikva Grekujo – teritorio loĝata de la antikvaj grekoj, sed ankaŭ konsistanta el centoj da individuaj urbo-ŝtatoj – polis . Ĉiu loĝloko (eĉ la vilaĝoj) estis polis. Logike do, la vivo en “la ŝtatoj” esti subigita de militado. Ĉefe, homoj vivis en pli fermita rondo oykos (de οίκος – domo komunumo de familio kaj sklavoj, laborantaj por ĝi), kiu Ari...
