વિચારવાટિકા | મારી પસંદ Skip to primary content Skip to secondary content વિચારવાટિકા મારી પસંદ Search Main menu Home About me Post navigation ← Older posts સિત્તેરના દાયકા પહેલાંનું અમારું ગામ: ૧૨૨ Posted on July 10, 2024 by પરભુભાઈ મિસ્ત્રી Reply નવો ખોરાક પછી નવી દવા ચાલુ થઈ! તે વખતે અમારા ભણવામાં આવેલું કે ફતેહપુર સિકરી અને સિંદરીમાં રાસાયણિક ખાતર બનાવવાના કારખાના આવેલા છે. તે વખતની પરીક્ષામાં એ ખાસ પૂછાતું પણ હતું. પછી તો ગુજરાત (નર્મદા ફર્ટિલાઈઝર) સહિત અન્ય રાજ્યોમાં પણ ઠેર ઠેર ફર્ટિલાઈઝર ડેપો ઊભા થયા અને છાણિયું ખાતર, દિવેલીનો ખોળ, લીંબોડીનો ખોળ, શણનો લીલો પડવાશ, ઘેટા બકરાંની લીંડી એ બધું હાંસિયામાં ધકેલાઈ ગયું. એનો ઉપયોગ કરીને ખેતી કરવા જાય તો તે ખેડૂત પછાત ગણાય, ગમાર ગણાય! આ રાસાયણિક ખાતર વિશે એવું બોલાતું હતું કે એકવાર એનો ઉપયોગ કરો એટલે બીજીવાર પણ એનો જ ઉપયોગ કરવો પડે. આ તો ‘હાથ આપવા જતાં પહોંચું પકડ્યા‘ જેવો ઘાટ થયો! ભલે, તેમ તો તેમ, પણ ઉત્પાદન વધારે મળતું હોય અને કમાણી વધારે થતી હોય તો એ પરવડે તેમ હતું. એ સાથે નવું પરિબળ ઉમે...
