Then recently Little Sal went to joint him at the bridge, taking another big chunk of my heart with her. Only a pet owner will know that emptiness I’m talking about. I know everyone is different, and we all deal with our grief in different ways. Mine has always been to try and fill that hole as soon as I can as it gives me something to focus on, and if by doing so I can help another poor lost soul have a happier life, well that is reward enough for me.
