Those dreams finally became a reality with a recent tour to the Four Corners area of the US where Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado all come together in one place. Our tour with Loom Dancer Odysseys took us to several of the trading posts in the area where we learned the evolution of the Navajo rug. We saw so many amazing works of art it was hard to imaging the time just learning the processes much less making the pieces: turquoise jewelry, rugs, baskets, weavers and spinners, there just wasn’t enough time to take it all in.
