Forgot. Visited my favourite disciplinarian a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps I should go back for my own birching, given my abstraction and indolence. Alfred Roy Wainwright and Colefax Sgt Colefax I have to say that yesterday was a very good day. I have the best job in the world and yesterday I had one of the best jobs. Mustn’t show too much enthusiasm of course, that wouldn’t do. Just doing my job, doing it efficiently and expertly. That’s why they gave it to me.
