Di provinsi yang beribukota Palangkaraya ini, kita bisa melakukan berbagai aktivitas wisata menarik dan menantang, seperti treking, berkemah, mengamati burung dan orang utan, menyusuri sungai, mancing, bersepeda, dan sebagainya Dalam kunjungan belum lama ini, saya mendapatkan kenyataan bahwa Kalteng bukan hanya memiliki Hutan Rehabilitasi Orang Utan di Tanjung Puting. Namun ternyata menyimpan beberapa objek wisata lain yang cukup memikat hati sebagai alasan untuk berkunjung.Kota Palangkaraya berpenduduk sekiter 200 ribu.
