The Wiser Side Tuesday, September 3, 2024 My trip to the Future Last Monday when I was on my way to work, I got a call from my boss. He said, " You're going to the year 2075 today!" Before I got to the office, the traffic was moving as slow as a sloth (simile). Time just seemed to stand still in the traffic (personification). Since the traffic was moving very slowly, it gave me time to think about what 2075 would look like. I have been waiting for ages to go to the Future, and the day was finally here (hyperbole). When I got in the office, I had to get dressed in future clothes. Before I got to the locker room to change, I saw a gaggle of giggling girls (Alliteration). One of the giggling girls said to me, "Who are you?We've never seen you before." I said to them, "This is my first day being a time traveler that is going to the Future instead of the past."
