I don’t know how people travel frequently for work yet stay sane and energetic. I was totally exhausted by the end of it and want my feet on terra firma for at least a month before I go hareing off again. It’s all very well – Madrid was a press conference for the launch of an exciting new funding initiative for the Big Three diseases (though R&D remains in the shadows and the fund is all about procurement of health tools and not thier development); while Brussels was an opportunity to spread the word about MMV and hunt for possible investors. Met some interesting people and bent their ears about the good work we do. But what about my poor plants on the balcony? They were looking pretty bedraggled and in need of a drink, as much as I was! ...
