De fapt, nici nu este nevoie să simtă aerul de afară. Este de ajuns să se dea jos din pat şi să intre în baie desculţă. Gresia este mai rece. Dacă nu îşi ia un halat pe ea, riscă dureri la mijlocul coloanei vertebrale. Ea, doamna doctor. De când a rămas singură a devenit tot mai plictisită în timp şi plictiseala i s-a transformat în oboseală. Oboseala i s-a transformat în sictir. Sictirul i s-a transformat în nepăsare. A ajuns la treizeci şi şapte de ani să nu îi mai pese. S-a imunizat la stimulii mediului înconjurător, dar s-a îmbibat de miserupism. Abia se trezeşte, abia porneşte la drum. E nevoie de ea la spital. Aşa cred ceilalţi. Ea nu mai crede nimic. Ea nu mai crede că e nevoie de vreo ceva. Nu mai crede pe nimeni. Nu mai crede când aude că doare.
