Mendapat Pendidikan awal di Sek. Wan Mohamad Saman, Sg Korok, Alor Setar, Kedah. Dipilih memasuki Special Malay Class Di bawah Jabatan Pelajaran negeri selama 3 Tahun. Lulusan Senior Cambridge Pada Tahun 1965. Mendapat pendidikan Agama Islam di bawah Majlis Agama Islam, Kedah sehingga tamat Tahun IV pada tahun 1968.
