Japanese collaborations Japanese collaborations My collaborations with Japanese contacts from 1985 forward. Monday, January 30, 2006 Kozan - Angry Animals Kozi Matsuura was one of my first contacts in Japan. His music, noises and sounds appear often on my tapes because their inventiveness and mutated approach adds such flavor to collaborative mixes. The tapes listed above are by no means all of the tapes he appears on. I may be reduced to referring to a few of these tapes as noisy, but this does no justice to the vibrant, tenacious use of pitch, distortion, squeals and cataclysmic sounds that Tuf (like other Japanese noise artists) achieves.
