Tuesday, 29 October 2024 On an Istanbul Ferry I have never been to Turkey before & I was surprised by this announcement on a ferry across the Golden Horn: "Dear passengers we would like to remind you that smoking is prohibited indoors and outdoors, in accordance with the will of Allah." We were on our way to Chore church, which Andrew Graham-Dixon talks about very interestingly 6 minutes into the 8th video in this playlist . Perhaps when I have time I will do a post about our outing. Chore is a wonderful place.
