I am a fly by the seat of my pants guy. Take it all in stride and figure it out as we go. The problem with this approach is I really didn’t know where I was heading. I suppose where ever the world takes me. The reason I hate goals is because they are hard. If I actually set down and think about a goal write it down on paper and give it a time line. Then it’s alive and I have to achieve it. Working daily towards a goal is hard, takes grit, determination and intentionality. Where as if I don’t set goals life is just easier. No wasted time thinking about the future, no headaches trying to figure out how to achieve that goal. Just let the wind blow me where ever. I know which one looks more appealing when I read this. I heard once “hope is not strategy.” ...
