In fact if I get another month or two I can count myself very, very lucky. The cancer and associated infections are bad enough, but I discover something about myself that I would have never expected: I am subject to extreme panic attacks. The attacks don’t seem to have any origin, rhyme, or reason. They just force my entire bodily resources into sucking air in and out of my lungs.
