Leave a comment I have had this large San Jose juniper in my yard for over 20 years. I plated it myself after we moved in to this house. I had planted about 8 junipers and had dug up all but two, this one being the largest. I neglected to get pictures of the dig, which I did by myself, but here are a few pics of before and after. When it recovers and is growing strong, it will be grafted. Before removal sitting happily in it’s planter home with a lot of branching:      After removal I had to cut about 2/3 of the main trunk just to be able to move it myself.
