It took its name from the old Saw Mill and Tavern located “seven miles” from the CBD, just south of the current site. In those days of horse-drawn transport, the “Seven Mile” was a welcome sight for weary travellers offering them comfort, a cooked meal and a cold drink! Today the “Seven Mile” still represents those traditional values but offers our guests all the creature comforts of today. Our menu is fresh and locally sourced.
