Pilihan kata dalam penulisan berita itu menyesuaikan dengan gaya medianya atau publik pembaca yang dibidik. Mungkin pula (ini mungkin lho ya) karena latar belakang si penulis/wartawan. Wartawan atau redaktur bola yang biasa pake kata “redam”, “taklukkan”, “bantai”, “tundukkan”, sepertinya pernah liputan perang, daerah konflik, atau paling tidak ex. desk kriminal. Kalau pakai kata “cukur” patut diduga si wartawan pernah kerja di salon. Sedangkan yang suka pakai kata-kata “hujani”, “petik”, “panen gol”, bisa jadi anak petani. Nah, Wartawan atau redaktur bola yang nulis judul “SIKAT!” seperti gambar di atas kayaknya alumni SMA 6 :)) Wallahu a’lam..
