jarmom Pages Home Products Jun 23, 2011 Oscars Kick Bike - No Pedals! I designed and built this kick bike for Oscar for his birthday this year.   As you can see, he's every 3 year old girls dream and her parents' worst nightmare. Yup, he's hardcore. It's made from all-American, solid steel (actually it might be from China, I just don't know).   .120 wall round tubing to be exact.  Pretty heavy duty stuff. I designed it in AutoCAD then printed it out full size to make sure all of my bends were correct. We welded it all up and fitted the seat, headset and dropouts (the parts that hold the wheels, also drawn in AutoCAD) The picture below shows the bike all together before I disassembled it for sand blasting and powder coating.  Also, the handle bars weren't finished in the above photo.
