Friday, January 3, 2025 New Year's Heave We are slowly getting better from our very stupid illness, but there doesn't feel like there's much to report as it seems like most of the week was just lying around wishing we felt better. Last Friday was a lot of lounging around. Carver and Jesse both seemed to be doing quite a bit better, thankfully. Kira got Carver some medicine just before he took a long nap, and that seemed to make a lot of difference for him. It was trash day, just to give us a gut punch. Luckily, Avey helped me to get that taken care of while Kira was gone. We watched another Christmas movie that night. I took lots of medicine before bed, hoping that I could finally get some solid slumber. It worked pretty well, as I got some great sleep in two separate blocks.
