No Brasil, cerca de 300 mil crianças se queimam[1] anualmente. [2]Todos os dias pelo menos 50 vítimas entre zero e 14 anos se internam em hospitais públicos do país. Em Pernambuco, a causa representa a terceira no “ranking” de mortes por acidentes nesta faixa etária.
