For my third year Journalism Project, I have chosen to study NME Magazine (National Music Express) due to it being a popular music publication that has a devoted fanbase amongst the alternative music scene. The publication first went online in 1996 and has more than 4 million users per month. It currently has a large Online presence in the digital music community where users are able to comment on articles and share their views by posting blogs. The website also features Message boards for discussions and even contains posts for TV and Film thoughts.
