Nama itu aku dengar di bangku SMA dari ibu guru Bahasa Indonesia saat sedang membahas para pujangga2 Indonesia setelah masa kemerdekaan. Nama itu dilanjutkan dengan embel2 keterangan bahwa orang tersebut mendapat stempel merah di dahinya… Komunis. Itu pemahamanku pertama tentang Pram. Setelah itu, terabaikanlah nama tersebut dari hidupku. Pertama karena memang aku tidak banyak bersinggungan apalagi tenggelam dalam hal2 yang berbau sastra. Dan kedua, karena stigma komunis itu membuat aku tidak terlalu berkeinginan untuk mengetahuinya lebih jauh. Jaman itu, yang masih terasa sampai sekarang, stigma komunis sangatlah menyeramkan. Barulah beberapa tahun terakhir ini, saat nama Pram mulai merebak lagi, aku mendengar namanya disebut2. Saat itu rupanya Pram sudah mendapat kebeb...
