We are finally working through week 3 of our prac and as much as I have loved every day with the children, I am also really looking forward to getting back to normal life, (like sleeping:)). This prac has been a great experience, after spending so many years learning about all these strategies to support children’s learning it is such a relief to see that they are actually needed for teaching, especially for example a few of my lessons have been using Blooms Taxonomy and it was good to see how this fitted into my lesson plans. A couple of other strategies I have discovered from my mentor is DAD which stands for draw a diagram .
