Wolfenbütteler Digitale Bibliothek Wolfenbütteler Digitale Bibliothek Selbstverständnis und Ziele In der Wolfenbütteler Digitalen Bibliothek (WDB) werden hochwertige und wissenschaftlich zuverlässige Texte und Datenbanken aus Editions- und textbasierten Mittelalter und Frühe-Neuzeit Forschungsprojekten angeboten und langfristig unter Berücksichtigung der Zitierfähigkeit durch persistent identifier archiviert ("trusted repository"). Alle digitalen Dokumente, mögen sie durch Retrokonversion von Drucken oder Handschriften entstanden oder digital born sein, werden durch die Bibliothek regelkonform katalogisiert, indexiert und in einem normalisierten elementaren Format der Wissenschaft zur Nachnutzung via Download und über definierte Schnittstellen ("Webservices") zur Verfügung gestellt.
