I ended up finishing both books quickly and enjoyed both of them immensely. I liked Esme and Kai(Kai more so lol). You get to see their relationship development throughout the book. It’s not some instant love. The secondary characters a great addition and provide lots of humor to the story. It’s also great to see kai’s interaction with his family and how each of them helped him with understanding his emotions. Overall, the book was funny, saucy, and sweet!
