the 1690 initiative home about Mission of the project I’d like to announce the beginning of the 1690 initiative to benefit mental health. The way this works is very simple: If you or someone you know is going through tough times and could use some positivity, simply Venmo request $16.90 from the handle @initiative1690 for “sunshine” or ☀️. The transaction will be accepted immediately. Then take the money and treat yourself to a nice lunch as a feel-good treat. I’ve personally taken some money out of my savings to cover some meals, but if you are in a position to help out you can donate to the Venmo account as well.
