James Hong | Computer Scientist James Hong I am on the job market. My email is james.hong [at] cs.stanford.edu I am a final year computer science Ph.D. student in the Graphics Lab at Stanford University advised by Prof. Kayvon Fatahalian . Previously, I did my B.S. and M.S. at Stanford in systems and theory, respectively, under the direction of Prof. Philip Levis . My hobbies include photography , travel, watching movies, and collecting interesting facts and trivia.   CV Research I work on applied computer vision for understanding real-world images and video. My prior projects explore ways to generate or augment training data for fine-grained classification, detection, and regression tasks.
