I obtained my Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin , advised by Professor Greg Durrett and Eunsol Choi . My dissertation is about building modular and robust question answering systems. My favorite work during my Ph.D. includes detecting short cuts in multi-hop question answering systems, building verifiable QA systems by sub-part alignment and NLI , building explainable and verifiable fact-checking systems through decomposition . I finished my undergraduate study at Fudan University . I also received a master degree from Fudan where I was advised by Professor Xuanjing Huang , Qi Zhang , and Xipeng Qiu .
