I blogged for a whole year going through losing weight and just life trials. So, much of my life has changed since then. My kids are grown, I have a new job, and I turned 50. Of course, the weight didn’t stay off either. I’m on a new journey now. I’m trying to not fall into the thinking I’m in my 50s so it is too late to try new things or be who I once was. Who came up with the idea that once you turned a certain age things had to be different anyway. I know there is a difference between growing up and not but I’m still me. I still love music, dancing, and doing things that I find relaxing and fun even if others don’t. I tried to be “who” others thought I should be. I “ acted” the way others expected me to act.
