Lex Resting – musings from sabbatical about glimpses Lex Resting there’s only make May 30th, 2023 I printed and pasted this post in my sabbatical journal before it began. I wanted it there as an anchor and as radical permission to approach my art-making during sabbatical as experimentation and practice. I wanted the reminder to hold it lightly while, at the same time, holding big dreams for the emergence, development, initiation even–of my Artist Self. I made a lot of ugly art during sabbatical. I gave myself permission to laugh at it and rip it up and throw it away.
