Saturday, January 14, 2017 A First Meeting with Mr. James Schergen of TeaDB Last Saturday on January 7th, 2017, I had the pleasure of meeting James Schergen (of TeaDB) for the first time. James was in my neck of the woods for the weekend with his family and stayed 5 minutes away from my home. Needless to say, our meeting was predestined. We met at my home in Thousand Oaks, CA, at around 12:30pm and we kept a very casual, relaxed pace with our day and tea drinking. During the course of the third tea we were having, which was a late 60's / early 70's CNNP Huangyin (Yellow Mark) , we both felt a mutual need to walk off the immense energy from this tea. So we drove to a nearby hiking trail in the Santa Monica Mountains and walked by the lush green hills and breathed the fragrant after-rain air, all the while sensing the warm blanket of energy and the high from the incredible aged tea.
