I am glad for the break from the school schedules and the early mornings, but the lack of structure means an increase in chaos and wet towels and piles of dishes from kids snacking all day and huge amounts of messes that will never quite get cleaned up until fall. But the kids are happy and busy, and I can get them to help out and clean up every so often, so it’s all good. Ben is doing so so well! His doctors are very happy with his progress – like, surprised about how astoundingly well he’s done and continues to do. Because of this, I have asked for permission for him to be allowed to return to school in the fall – even if it is for a couple hours a day, or a couple days a week… This ki...
