I have kept it for more than 10 years. It got lost and I don’t know where and how. A part of me is happy I lost it because it was very hard to accept that she passed on a long time ago. So, whenever I saw her photo, I’d break down. Holding on to it has kind of made it difficult for me to live and accept that she’s no more.  My grandmother passed away before I could even buy her a home. The least I prayed for was that I buy her a beautiful home, but that didn’t happen.  You can imagine the emotions I went through every time I held her photo. There was always a pain I felt whenever she smiled; as much as I was still a teenager, I knew she carried scars from her past.
