I worked many different areas of nursing and loved every minute of caring for others. I was diagnosed with Bipolar II disorder and had a tough time with several medications until I was stabilized on Lamictal twelve years ago. There are still episodes of depression, (one from which I just recovered), and hypomania, but not as severe. I have several serious health issues going on, but try to live my life to fullest possible with them. There was a quote one of my friends posted on Facebook that basically relays my attitude.
