An unfinished 2023; rebooting in 2024! May 31, 2024 After my two 2023 shows last Fall, I never really unpacked or stored all those recent panel paintings and new framed watercolor and gouache studies. Finally, a bit tired of the stacks of loosely wrapped art all over the studio, I have started unwrapping, cleaning, and prepping to properly store all these works! Pulling pieces from the various loosely arranged stacks, I am checking each for any dirt, dust, scratches or twisted wires. I am also inspecting them to make sure the pieces are properly signed, sealed, and the wooden sides varnished and sanded.  Below is one of the 2023 pieces that I exhibited last fall at LAC Galley in Lynchburg; I found it to be an interesting, even engaging, piece but wasn’t 100% sure it was “forever” done.
