More than 130 scholarships have been awarded to worthy students from across America as beneficiaries of the program. The American Road & Transportation Builders Association Transportation Development Foundation (ARTBA-TDF) is seeking qualified students for its 2017-18 “Lanford Family Highway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program.” Applications are due by April 7, and can be found at www.artbatdf.org. The scholarship, in its 17th year, provides post-high school financial assistance to the children of highway workers who have been killed or permanently disabled while working in roadway construction zones.
