目次 はじめに こんにちは。株式会社スリーシェイク Sreake 事業部に所属している @Sugo Fumitaka です。Sreake 事業部は技術力が求められる領域で豊富な経験を持つ SRE の専門家が集まったチームです。事業部にはさまざまな背景を持つ SRE の専門家が多く在籍してます。 その SRE の専門家の中に DBRE チームが 2022 年 12 月に発足しまして、私は 2023 年 3 月からジョインしました。チーム発足後、初めての輪読会を開催・運営してみて、昨年 11 月に「データベース輪読会をやってみた話」をブログに投稿しました。その記事はこちらです。 データベース輪読会をやってみた話 | sreake.com | 株式会社スリーシェイク 前回のブログで予告した「データベースリライアビリティエンジニアリング輪読会」を無事終了したので、この輪読会もブログ記事にしました。 データベースリライアビリティエンジニアリング輪読会の対象書籍 輪読会の書籍として「データベースリライアビリティエンジニアリング」を選びました。タイトルが長いので以降は「DBRE本」と省略します。 データベースリライアビリティエンジニアリング 輪読会の形式 今回は「エクストリーム リーディング」と呼ばれる形式にチャレンジしまして、30分の枠で、前半は黙読、後半はディスカッション、といった流れで進めています。深い理解が得られる反面、じっくりと進むのでスローペースです。週一回の開催で全 50 回かかり、一年かけて読破しました。ちなみに、この輪読会は DBRE チームが運営しました。 輪読会をやってみて筆者の感想 輪読会の前は、ひとりで読んでると難解で眠くなるので積読の本だったのですが、輪読会としてチームで集まって読むことで、最後まで読み切れたので達成感がありました。また、本を最後まで読んでない、という負い目も解消できました。実際に最後まで読んでみて「DBRE本」は DBRE チームのバイブル的な存在だと思いました。 本の内容について、この場では言及しませんが、私自身が「SRE の概念も取り入れながら DBA から DBRE の道に進もうとしてる」最中なので、「読んで（...
