LaVerl Joy Reierson, 73, of Arlington lost his two-year battle with brain cancer on June 15, 2013, at the Golden Living Center-Arlington. He is survived by his wife, Marlys; his daughters, Rechele (Eugene) Smits of Ferndale, WA, Tamara (Paul) Gerhart of Sioux Falls, and Stephanie (Trent) Damm of Arlington; four grandchildren, Cierra (Forrest) Murphy of White, SD, Trace Damm of Badger, and Morgan and Madison Gerhart of Sioux Falls; three step-grandchildren, J.R. Smits of California, Brandee Smits of Arizona, and Garrett Barrow of Nebraska; three step-great-grandchildren; his sister, Karen (Danny) Jensen of Beresford; a special cousin, Donald Reierson; his brother-in-law Douglas Nebelsieck; two nephews, Terry (Laura) Jensen and Jimmy (Monica) Jensen; two nieces, Estela Alfino, and Heidi Nebelsieck; several cousins and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, both sets of grandparents and several aunts and uncles.Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 20...
