News 20 May 2024 -- Chrono 9.0.0 released We have recently released version 9.0.0 of the Chrono package. The code for the release can be obtained from GitHub under the release/9.0 branch. Development will continue in the 'main' branch. For a list of the main changes in release 9.0.0, consult the Change Log page. New capabilities include: - direct integration of ROS2 with Chrono - parsers for URDF (Unified Robotics Description Format) specification files - support for exporting and importing co-simulation FMUs for the Functional Mock-Up Interface standard 2.0 - new run-time visualization module based on Vulkan and VulkanSceneGraph - Blender add-on for importing Chrono simulations for post-processing and rendering This release includes a major API refactoring.
