 Parigi, 31 luglio 2023 - OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Cooperation) ha assegnato a Naviris ed eurosam un contratto per l’ammodernamento di mezza vita (mid-life upgrade – MLU) delle fregate classe Horizon italiane e francesi. I due co-contractor, Naviris ed eurosam, lavoreranno in stretta collaborazione con i loro azionisti, Fincantieri e Naval Group per la fregata, MBDA Italia, MBDA Francia e Thales per la nuova generazione del sistema Principal Anti-Air Missile System & Long-Range Radar (PAAMS & LRR). Il valore del contratto per Naviris ed eurosam è di 1,5 miliardi di euro. Più in dettaglio, nei prossimi giorni Naviris finalizzerà i contratti di subappalto, tra cui quello con Fincantieri, che avrà un valore di 211 milioni di euro e costituisce un’operazione tra parti correlate di maggiore rilevanza definita nel rispetto della relativa normativa applicabile.
