“Aparte de los sueros que ya tenemos a disposición de la población, nuestra vacuna antineumocócica conjugada 20-valente (VNC20) en adultos ha sido recientemente aprobada por la EMA y FDA. Además, en Fase 3 se están evaluando la vacuna antineumocócica conjugada 20-valente pediátrica, la vacuna antimeningocócica pentavalente para los serogrupos ABCWY, dirigida a adolescentes y adultos jóvenes y una vacuna para el virus respiratorio sincitial para adultos y para inmunización maternal para proteger de esta enfermedad a los neonatos. Finalmente, contra el COVID-19 seguimos evaluando la vacuna BNT162b2 en poblaciones pediátricas y estamos probando la seguridad e inmunogenicidad de un nuevo candidato contra la variante ómicron del COVID-19 para ser administrado individualmente o de forma bivalente con la original BNT162b2", detalla Jodar.
