Madrid, 30 de abril de 2020. – Pfizer y BioNTech han completado la administración de su candidato vacunal contra la COVID-19 en la primera cohorte del ensayo en humanos en Alemania. El candidato vacunal BNT162 comenzó a administrarse el pasado 23 de abril en doce personas que están participando en el estudio. Este es el primer ensayo clínico de un candidato vacunal para prevenir la COVID-19 desarrollado en Alemania. Pfizer y BioNTech planean iniciar ensayos con BNT162 en Estados Unidos tan pronto como lo aprueben las autoridades regulatorias.
