Important News from Joslin Diabetes Center September 14, 2023 Our colleagues at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and its affiliated physician group, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP), announced in September 2023 that they have reached an agreement with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute to create a comprehensive collaboration spanning the full continuum of adult cancer care in the Longwood Medical Area. This agreement includes a proposal to build a new, dedicated adult cancer hospital – the region’s only freestanding hospital focused on oncology care. This is exciting and important news for anyone whose life has been or will be affected by cancer.
