The AO recognizes that mentoring is a life-long process with unique age dependent requirements which may vary between members of a diverse and inclusive community of surgeons, operating room personnel, health care professionals, and researchers. In a series of interactive webinars targeting particular aspects of diversity and inclusion, mentorship and sponsorship, selected AO experts and invited speakers share their experiences and answer your questions. The third AO Access webinar of this series is scheduled for November 7, 2020, from 21:00pm–22:15pm Central European Time (CET). Learning objectives At the end of this presentation the learner will be able to: 1. List the keys elements in establishing a good mentoring relationship. 2. Describe the differing needs between people of different age, gender, culture and religious background. 3. Discuss how mentoring relationships may improve your AO experience. 4. Aid and identify future AO leaders.
