 I’ve started and stopped writing a bunch of posts over the past few weeks. Recent events have really crystallized some issues that we’ve been looking at for over a year. Those posts are largely ideological in nature, and they tend to ramble on at very great length. This isn’t intended to be such a post. This is a post to acknowledge that our service has a couple of serious issues that require more urgent attention. The cost and threat of DDOS attacks is escalating so quickly that unless we act, they will drive us out of business. It’s time for us to move toward ICANN accreditation.
