Winners of the bfilmed Road Safety Film Competition A massive congratulations to our Year 10 PDHPE students on winning the bfilmed competition as part of the bstreetsmart Road Safety Forum held yesterday at Qudos Bank Arena: Shaina, Maristella, Rhys and Alice. We also had another group come in as Finalists – Angus, Arabelle and Juliette. This year’s prize, donated by St John Ambulance, is valued at $6000 with a choice of a defibrillator and/or training, a first aid kit and prize money for the College. The group were awarded their prize in front of 8000 other senior students last week, during the Road Safety Forum. The forum (and film competition) was created by the Westmead Hospitals’ Trauma Units in an effort to impart and share strategies to stay safe on the road and consequently reduce the number of young people coming through their doors.
